North Dakota Health and Human Services has announced the temporary closure of the North Central Human Service Center and its regional vocational rehabilitation office in Minot. The closure, effective Tuesday, Feb. 25, is due to a water line break.

Team members who have the capability to work from home are expected to do so during this period. Despite the closure, the building remains accessible for signing out State Fleet Vehicles.

Staff members are actively reaching out to individuals with scheduled appointments or meetings at the facility. Case managers and other team members will continue providing services directly to clients in the community as planned. Crisis services remain available around-the-clock.

For those experiencing a behavioral health crisis, it is advised to call 988 for immediate assistance.

The situation is under continuous monitoring, and team members will be informed once repairs are completed and the facility is ready to reopen.
