Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak of North Dakota has expressed her support for the House budget resolution, H. Con. Res. 14, which she believes will help implement the America First Agenda. This agenda includes initiatives such as tax relief, energy independence, and border security.

"America is at a turning point," said Fedorchak. "The last four years of reckless spending, weak border policies, and attacks on American energy have made life harder for working families. But now, Republicans are taking action."

The budget resolution serves as a precursor to the reconciliation bill that aims to extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Without this extension, average American families could face a 22% tax increase, reduced child tax credits for millions of families, and decreased death tax exemptions affecting family farms.

"House Republicans are committed to extending these tax cuts to keep more money in the pockets of hardworking Americans and out of the massive, unaccountable federal bureaucracy," Fedorchak continued.

Fedorchak also highlighted concerns about fiscal responsibility and government spending: "Our national debt now exceeds $36 trillion—more than $295,000 per American household." She emphasized that each borrowed dollar contributes to economic weakness and inflation while increasing dependency on foreign lenders.

"This isn’t just a number—it’s a burden on our children and grandchildren," she added. "Tonight is the beginning of the end of that recklessness."
