North Dakota Health and Human Services has announced the temporary closure of the North Central Human Service Center and its regional vocational rehabilitation office in Minot. The closure, effective today, February 25, is due to a water line break.
Employees who are able to work remotely are expected to do so. The facility remains accessible for signing out State Fleet Vehicles.
Staff members are actively informing individuals with scheduled appointments or meetings at the center about the situation. Case managers and other team members will continue meeting clients in the community as planned. Crisis services remain available around the clock.
For those experiencing a behavioral health crisis, immediate assistance can be obtained by calling 988.
The situation is under observation, and staff will be informed once repairs are completed and the facility is ready to reopen.
