As temperatures rise, the City of Bismarck is preparing to implement spring load restrictions on its streets and alleys. These restrictions could be enforced in the coming weeks as part of an annual effort to protect road infrastructure during seasonal changes.

Contractors and truckers are advised to transport heavy loads before these restrictions take effect. The limitations will remain until roadbeds stabilize enough to support normal traffic weights.

A proposed map detailing the 2025 spring load restrictions has been created and will soon be available on the city's website. This map aims to guide drivers about which routes will be affected once the restrictions are active.

For those needing more information or wishing to view the Truck and Delivery Route map, it can be accessed at: https://www.bismarcknd.gov/DocumentCenter/View/19457/Truck-Route-Map

The city emphasizes that it retains the authority to modify or introduce additional load restrictions as necessary. Updates regarding these measures will be communicated through future news releases.

Further details can be found by visiting www.bismarcknd.gov.
