LaMoure County crash under investigation after serious injuries reported

A serious injury crash occurred in LaMoure County at the intersection of Highway 281 and County Road 35 on February 21, 2025, at approximately 5:53 PM. The incident involved a side-impact collision between two vehicles: a northbound Peterbilt semi-truck and an eastbound Ford Bronco.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the Ford Bronco failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to a T-bone collision with the semi-truck. The driver of the Bronco, a 38-year-old male from Jamestown, ND, sustained serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the Peterbilt truck, a 47-year-old male also from Jamestown, ND, was not injured.

The weather conditions were reported as seasonal at the time of the crash. Both drivers were using restraints. Charges related to this incident are still under investigation.

The agencies involved in responding to this crash include the North Dakota Highway Patrol, LaMoure County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Ambulance, and a local fire department.
