Morton County seeks chemical supply bids with March deadline

The Morton County Weed Board has announced it will accept bids for the supply of specific chemicals until 1:00 PM CST on March 10, 2025. The submission location is the County Commission Room at the Morton County Courthouse, located at 210 2nd Avenue NW, Mandan, North Dakota.

The chemicals required include 500 gallons of Tordon 22K, 700 quarts of Milestone, and 64 quarts of Venue. Bidders are requested to submit separate bids for each chemical as the board reserves the right to accept or reject each bid individually. Additionally, the board may purchase more chemicals at the same unit price through August 31, 2025. Payment will be made within 30 days following delivery to the County Weed Shop.

The Morton County Weed Board retains the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities while holding all submissions for fifteen days. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Chemical Bid." A separate envelope containing a bid bond or certified check for five percent of the total bid amount should accompany this and be marked "BID BOND," payable to the Morton County Weed Board as liquidating damages per Section 11-11-28 NDCC.
