Active Parenting offers a program aimed at parents and caregivers of children aged 5-12. The initiative is designed to help raise responsible, cooperative, and confident children. It focuses on teaching practical skills for improved communication, discipline, and problem-solving. Additionally, the program guides children in making good choices, resisting negative peer pressure, and building strong positive relationships.

The classes are scheduled for Mondays on March 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. They will be held at Carlson Library located at 2801 32nd Ave S in Fargo, ND. The program is Growing Futures approved.

For more information or to register for the program, interested individuals can contact Jeanne Erickson via email at jeanne.erickson@ndsu.edu or by phone at 701-241-5700. Those requiring accommodations related to disability should make requests to the event contact person at least two weeks before the event.
