North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced the opening of Bridges to Recovery, a new residential treatment program located in Jamestown. This facility offers individuals a supportive environment to focus on their recovery. Operated by South Central Human Service Center, Bridges to Recovery is a clinically managed, high-intensity residential program that provides a structured, 24-hour therapeutic setting.
The program features round-the-clock care, therapy, and essential behavioral health services aimed at helping people establish a foundation for wellness and long-term success. The facility accommodates up to 15 residents, offering individual and group therapy tailored to each person's needs. Psychiatric services are available as required, along with connections to ongoing recovery supports. The program also facilitates referrals and admissions for public and private providers across the state.
Ashley Zabka, clinical director of South Central, stated, “We recognize the need for quality residential treatment options in our community and across the state.” She added that the facility aims to "bridge the gap for individuals seeking structured support on their recovery journey."
Shauna Eberhardt, HHS clinical policy director, remarked that this expansion aligns with their mission to strengthen the behavioral health continuum statewide. “By providing programs such as this,” she said, “we are improving outcomes for individuals in need while also supporting local communities.”
