North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced the temporary closure of its South Central Human Service Center (SCHSC) and regional vocational rehabilitation office in Jamestown. The decision, effective Monday, Feb. 10, is due to a water main break.
Team members are reaching out to individuals who had appointments or meetings scheduled at the facility. Despite the closure, case managers and other staff will continue meeting with clients in the community as planned. Crisis services remain available around the clock.
For those experiencing a behavioral health crisis, HHS advises calling 988 for immediate assistance.
Officials have not provided an estimated time for restoring water service.
