The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced the allocation of $292,800 to two airports in North Dakota. This funding, distributed through the FAA's Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) program, will support specific projects aimed at improving airport infrastructure.
Bottineau Municipal Airport will receive $175,000 for the reconstruction of an airport beacon. Additionally, Tioga Municipal Airport will be awarded $117,800 for the reconstruction of taxiway lighting.
The AIG program was established under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to finance modernization and safety initiatives at airports across the nation.
