Of the 285 citizens living in Gackle in 2019, 245 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 137 of those people were female and 108 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
