Of the 240 people living in Golden Valley in 2019, 54.6 percent (131) were women and 45.4 percent (109) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Central ND News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 63-to-62. In the 65 and over age range, there were 46 females and 30 males.
