A temporary closure of the eastbound Memorial Highway exit ramp on Interstate 194 into Mandan is scheduled to start Saturday, Nov. 1, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
The closure is necessary for new watermain installation and concrete paving at the intersection of 46th Avenue and Memorial Highway. The work is expected to take seven days to complete. During this period, drivers are advised to use alternative routes.
Detour options include Exit 153 for Mandan Avenue or the McKenzie Drive exit from Bismarck Expressway.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation urges motorists to drive safely and remain alert in work zones.
