Major Tom Iverson, Chief of Operations | North Dakota Highway Patrol
A fatal crash occurred in Stark County, North Dakota, early on October 25, 2025. The incident took place at 3:03 a.m. Mountain Time on 8th Street SW in Dickinson. A single vehicle, a 2013 Dodge Ram 2500, was involved in the rollover accident.
The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old male from Dickinson, was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. Four passengers were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. A 17-year-old male from Cedar City, Utah, who was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained injuries. Another passenger, a 17-year-old male from Gunnison, Utah, was injured but had been using a seatbelt. Additionally, a 20-year-old male from Cedar City and an 18-year-old female from Dickinson were injured; both were wearing seatbelts.
Emergency services responded to the scene promptly. The injured passengers were transported by ambulance to CHI St. Alexius Hospital in Dickinson for treatment.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into this incident with assistance from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and other local emergency services.
