The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has scheduled two public input meetings to discuss possible improvements at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Drive, located west of Grand Forks. The meetings will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks.
According to the NDDOT, the sessions will follow an open house format with a formal presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. Attendees are asked to enter through Door 6 on the east side of the building.
Representatives from both NDDOT and Ulteig will be present to answer questions and address concerns about potential changes at the intersection.
A pre-recorded presentation and related materials will be available online for those unable to attend in person. Written comments regarding the project can be submitted by mail or email until Nov. 19, referencing “Public Input Meeting - PCN 24422.” Comments should be sent to Ulteig Operations LLC, Attn: Thomas Fakler, 3350 38th Ave. South, Fargo, ND 58104 or emailed to US2AirportDrive@UIteig.com.
The department stated that it "will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities." Language interpretation and translation services are also available upon request.
