North Dakota Highway 15 in Thompson will be closed temporarily starting Monday, August 11, due to rail maintenance work at the BNSF crossing. A detour route will be marked for drivers while the closure is in effect. The North Dakota Department of Transportation expects the maintenance to be finished by the end of the week.
The department advised drivers to remain alert, follow posted detour signs, and watch for possible traffic congestion during this period.
