The public entrance to Bismarck's Public Works building will be temporarily moved on March 26 and 27. Typically, visitors enter through the southwest corner at 601 South 26th Street. During this period, they should use the northwest door, previously utilized during recent renovations.

Public Works encompasses several divisions offering various services in Bismarck, including Service Operations, City Building Maintenance, Fleet Services, Forestry, Solid Waste, Street Department, and Street Light and Traffic Signal Maintenance. Utility Operations covers areas such as Utility Billing, Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Industrial Pretreatment Program, Wastewater Treatment, Sanitary Sewer, and Stormwater Program.
