Williams County has announced the launch of its 2025 Tourism Grant Program, approved by the Board of County Commissioners. The initiative aims to support projects and initiatives that draw visitors to the area. Now in its fourth year and fifth award cycle, past grants have funded rental equipment, facility expansion and improvements, as well as local events.

The program offers a total of $80,000 from the Williams County Visitor Promotion Fund for this year's grants. Funding can cover up to 80% of project costs, with a requirement for grant recipients to provide a 20% match.

Applications will be accepted starting at 9 am CST on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and must be submitted by 5 pm CST on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Eligible applicants include government or public entities; private non-profit entities, clubs, and organizations; and private for-profit businesses, corporations, or associations. All proposed projects must aim to support tourism in Williams County and occur outside Williston city limits but within county boundaries.

The Tourism Grant Application Review Committee will evaluate applications before final selections are made by the Williams County Board of County Commissioners during their meeting on May 20, 2025.

For further details about the program, interested parties are encouraged to contact Lindsey Harriman at the provided phone number.
