Wells County District Health Unit issued the following announcement on March 21.
This week, we will be highlighting some of the data from the 2021 North Dakota Youth Risk Behavior Survey. This biannual report gives us a window into kids grades 7-12 behaviors- whether it’s in school, their mental health, substance use, diet, exercise etc. The data in this week’s posts will focus on 9-12 grades.
The survey found that 23 percent of respondents used tobacco products in the 30 days leading up to the survey. We need to get these products out of the hands of kids through education and stronger policy.
